The Auto Rescue Device from KMS Engineering offers an optimum quality solution. Our Smart ARD shuts down after completing its task within 2 minutes of a power failure. However, when you need to use the lift, pressing the call button activates it, saving power efficiently. Moreover, it remains active when the power is running.
Additionally, as GMDEO Elevator, we manufacture a high-quality range of passenger elevators, capsule elevators, elevator doors, and commercial hydraulic elevators. As a partnership firm, we source our products from reliable market vendors, offering them at reasonable prices.
If the main power supply fails, the lift between two floors moves to floor level, the automatic door opens, and passengers exit safely. Additionally, for lifts with automatic doors, if the main power supply fails at floor level, the door remains open.
This device suits buildings without an emergency power source allocated for the elevator. Additionally, it includes a smart battery charger for 72V (6 batteries of 12V). For higher HP motors, it optionally features a current sensor to detect the motor’s lowest current direction. Moreover, it offers overload and overcurrent protection, with adjustable start and travel times.
When power fails, this device automatically moves the elevator to the nearest floor using a rechargeable battery or UPS. Then, the doors open, ensuring the safety of any onboard passengers.
Mitsubishi elevators feature two types of emergency landing devices. First, the Operation by Emergency Power Source (OEPS) and second, the Mitsubishi Emergency Landing Device (MELD).
Operation by Emergency Power Source (OEPS)
During a power failure, OEPS enables elevators to operate using an emergency power source, preventing passengers from being trapped inside the elevator cars. Once power is restored, the elevators resume normal operation.
The return floor is defined as the floor designated in advance by each customer or the nearest floor.
